Day 2 :: Dec 22 -- JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
On arrival at O.R.Tambo International Airport you will be met and welcomed by a Coda Tours representative who will provide you with all the necessary information/vouchers for your safari. You will then be transferred to the Melrose Arch Hotel, where you will stay overnight on a bed and breakfast basis.
This modern hotel is located in the heart of an up-market business area. The rooms are stylishly decorated with contemporary furnishings, guest comfort and well-being is paramount. You will have time to enjoy a meal in one of the fine restaurants, or just relax on the verandah or take a dip in the pool and enjoy the urban pulse of Southern Africa’s largest city.

Day 3 :: Dec 23 -- JOHANNESBURG/LITTLE SABI BUSH CAMP
Today you will transfer to O.R. Tambo International Airport where you will take a scheduled flight to Hoedspruit Airport and then transfer by road to Little Sabi Bush Camp. You will stay here for 3 nights on a fully inclusive basis - all meals and drinks included!

Travel overland from the Little Sabi Bush Camp to Thornybush Private Game Lodge. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and a rest before setting off for an afternoon game drive.

Day 7 :: Dec 27 --THORNYBUSH PRIVATE GAME LODGE
This exclusive game lodge offers unique Safari experiences in both open Land Rovers, and on foot. The private reserve is home to an abundance of species: 147 mammals including the "Big Five", 114 reptiles, 507 birds, 49 fish, 34 amphibians and 336 trees. The reserve is predominantly open savannah and with a near perfect year round climate, it is the ideal African safari holiday destination. |
Day 8 :: Dec 28 -- FLY TO ZAMBIA (VICTORIA FALLS)
Today you will transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport where you will take a scheduled flight to Livingstone Airport in Zambia. From here you will transfer by road to Royal Livingstone where you will stay for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Day 9 :: Dec 29 VICTORIA FALLS
Enjoy a full day to explore Victoria Falls, one of the “Seven Natural Wonders of the World" and arguably the greatest waterfall anywhere. Our visit today includes a trip into Zimbabwe for the best vantage point to see the Falls. |
Day 10 :: Dec 30 -- VICTORIA FALLS/JOHANNESBURG/CAPE TOWN
Today you will transfer by road to Livingstone Airport and take scheduled flights to Cape Town. You will be transferred to Victoria & Alfred Hotel where you will stay 5 nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
The V & A Hotel was built in 1904 as the North Quay Warehouse and converted in 1990 to a luxury hotel, it is named in honor of the Queen of England and her son who visited the Cape in 1870, when Prince Alfred officially opened the Breakwater basin, today’s famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

Day 11 :: Dec 31 -- CAPE TOWN
Today you will enjoy a half-day tour of Cape Town City and Table Mountain. A tour of the city centre includes trips to some of the many museums and art galleries, as well as a visit to South Africa's oldest building, the Castle of Good Hope. The cobbled streets of the suburb Bo-Kaap are characterized by charming old houses and the first mosque in South Africa, an area that stands in cultural contrast to your next stop, the majestic buildings of the oldest homestead and wine farm in the Cape, Groot Constantia. No trip to Cape Town is complete without a cable car trip to the top of Table Mountain. Table Mountain offers spectacular views in all directions and gives a bird’s eye view of the city.
This evening celebrate New Years Eve. Dinner is at the Venue on Long Street, where Chef Bruce Robertson presides! Why not go to one of the gay clubs this evening to ring in the New Year!

Day 13 :: Jan 2 -- CAPE TOWN
After breakfast you will be collected for a full day private tour of the Cape Winelands including lunch. A short drive from the city centre takes you into the South Western Cape Winelands (Stellenbosch, Franschoek and Paarl) where viticulture was first introduced by the French Huguenots. As you meander through history-steeped towns and villages, you will be able to sample numerous fine wines including Rieslings, chardonnays, cabernets, chenels, pinotages, and shiraz. Surrounded by magnificent mountain ranges, you can enjoy lunch at one the gracious Cape Dutch homesteads.

Day 14 :: Jan 3 -- CAPE TOWN
Today you will take a full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula which will include lunch. To experience the Peninsula's unarguable beauty you will travel to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve along a dramatic coastal route. The road hugs the cold Atlantic ocean past Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay and onto Hout Bay, once a fishing community, and now a popular residential area situated around a harbor. The tour continues over “Constantia Nek” to the magnificent Kirstenbosch Gardens, one of the finest indigenous gardens in Africa, nestling in the lee of Table Mountain. After a walking tour of the gardens, you will continue to Kalk Bay via Muizenberg and then onto the naval base of Simonstown, where you will stop to visit the resident Jackass Penguin colonies. From here you continue south until reaching Cape Point in ruggedly beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Return to Cape Town along the world-renowned Chapman’s Peak Drive.

Today you will transfer to Cape Town International Airport, where you will connect with your homeward-bound flight.
(If your flight does not depart from Cape Town, but from Johannesburg, you will need a flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg and this flight is not included in the tour rate.)
