Day 2 Fri, Mar 16                  BUENOS AIRES

  • Arrive Buenos Aires (reciprocal vistors‘ fee of $140 payable by credit card due upon entry)
  • Private arrival transfer in Buenos Aires.
  • Assistance with check in at the 5* 725 Continental Hotel (Superior Room) for 4 nights + 1 night pre-registered for early arrival).
  • Immediate check at the hotel (pre-registration).
  • Welcome Dinner in the fashionable Puerto Madero area or similar.

Day 3 Sat, Mar 17                 BUENOS AIRES

  • Breakfast buffet at the hotel.
  • Morning Half Day City Tour of Buenos Aires (3 ½ hours)
  • Afternoon is at leisure.
    • Suggested optional tour: Half day Tigre Delta, Rio de la Plata  (4 hours)

Day 4 Sun, Mar 18                BUENOS AIRES

  • Breakfast buffet at the hotel.
  • Morning tour of San Telmo Antique Fair  (3 ½ hours)
  • Afternoon is at leisure.
  • Evening Tango Rojo (dinner, drinks & show) at the posh Faena Hotel.
  • Round trip transfers to Tango Rojo.

  • Transfer to Buquebus ferry to Colonia, Uruguay

  • Tour to Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat) & Iguazu National Park, Argentine side.
  • Buffet lunch at a restaurant in the National Park with drinks included.

Day 7 Wed, Mar 21               FOZ DO IGUAZU (BRAZIL) / RIO DE JANEIRO

  • Breakfast buffet at the hotel.
  • Check out of hotel and drive to Brazilian border for immigration/customs formalities (Brazlian visa required).
  • Tour Brazilian side of the Falls.
  • Buffet lunch at a restaurant near the Brazlian Falls with drinks included.
  • Transfer to Foz de Iguazu airport (IGU) for flight to Rio de Janeiro (GIG).
  • Arrival transfer in Rio de Janeiro.
  • Assistance with check in at the 4* Golden Tulip Ipanema Plaza Hotel (Superior Room) for 3 nights (registered until departure on last day.)

  • Brazilian Buffet Breakfast at the hotel.

The nearest to a gay hotel that Rio has to offer, the Golden Tulip Ipanema Plaza Hotel is located just across the street from the gay beach and attracts a large gay clientele. This four star hotel is equipped with all the necessary amenities and comforts for an exciting stay in Rio.

International & intra-tour airfares. Visa (Brazilian visa required prior to travel; Argentine reciprocity fee of $140 is payable upon arrival in Buenos Aires) and passport expenses. Meals not mentioned in the itinerary. Drinks with meals unless specified. Trip interruption & cancellation insurance (highly recommended). Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, faxes, wireless service and gratuities to guides and drivers.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
A Brazilian visa is required for American or Canadian passport holders. Please see the bottom of this page for a link to our recommended visa service. Travelers carrying  passports other than American or Canadian must check with the appropriate Consulate or Embassy for requirements. Please note that the processing time for a Brazilian visa can be quite lengthy. Apply early. The visa is valid for 5 years.
An Argentina reciprocity fee of $140 is charged in lieu of a visa requirement when entering Argentina at the Buenos Aires airport. This may be charged on a major credit card.

INTERNATIONAL AIRFARE
Delta Airlines, Tam Airlines, American Airlines, Aerolineas Argentinas are among airlines that can be used for this trip. We recommend booking at least 7 months in advance if you want to try to use Frequent Flyer Miles for free tickets or upgrades or the American Express Platinum card 2-4-1 program.

MINIMUMS
All departures are guaranteed on a minimum of 4 participants. A small group charge may be assessed for fewer than 10 travelers. This tour can be operated as a Private Tour, can be customized and repriced based on final itinerary. A Coda Tour Manager will accompany the group on a minium of 10 participants; otherwise, local gay or gay-friendly Hosts will manage the tour.
